Charity begins –and ends– at home

Wow. I’m such a loser. I’m crying at work because they wouldn’t give me a taxi chit to get the helium tank I rented for a charity event back to the store I rented it from.

What’s wrong with me?

  1. I guess the next time they want a sucker to assist with a charitable event, you’ll remember to take one step back!

  2. Now you took *my* comment – I agree. Fiscal responsibility = good. Ridiculous rules in place of common sense = not cool.

  3. Dude, if the helium tank was for a work charity event, then they should give you a taxi chit to pick it up AND drop it off. Leave it in your manager’s office and be all “Fine. You have a car. You drop it off.” Jesus!

  4. 1) *hugs*
    2) WTF? Then let them take the damned thing back.
    3) There appears to be surplus free-floating angst around lately. PErhaps you just got your share.
    4) *hugs*
