Survivors

I made it through my grueling, 2 1/2 hour $900 session at the dentist. 2 fillings replaced, 7 sections of soft decay drilled and sealed, and two needles. And actually, it wasn’t that bad. I mean, obviously it *was* that bad, but an argument could be made that there are things which are worse to endure. Bring on the childbearing years! I’m tough as nails!

The best part about fighting through the agony of sweaty fear is that now my teeth look frigging fantastic! No more ugly silver filling in my back right molar, no more brown crevices — just beautiful ivory and ivory-toned invisible filling agent stretching all the way around my mouth.

In other survival news, Wesley and I will be paying a visit to the vet for a little vitamin shot (I’m thinking of asking for one for myself, as well as one for her) and a general checkup.

I also ‘survived’ my evening of wine, curry, good company and bad TV with themusesbitch. Good fun was had by all, except when the internet connection broke down and we had to spend a few minutes weeping hysterically and tearing at our hair. Because, you know, we’re addicted geeks. I walked home in the lovely evening mistiness and collapsed into sleep afterwards. The wine weaved its sleepy web of oblivion over me and I didn’t wake up once in the night with toothache.
