Iron Chefs of Toronto… tell me where to eat tonight

This may not be best for tonight (looks like you’re aiming pretty upscale) but if you want some cheap’n’cheerful food, I can recommend Burrito Boyz at Richmond and Peter. Seriously good grilled burritos, made fresh to order in chicken, beef, fish and veggie combinations. My new favourite ‘best-bang-for-the-buck’ place in clubland.
Indeed, you are correct, they are tasty and fabulous.
I always aim upscale, but eating fancy tends to make JVL reeeeeallly uncomfortable, so we might head more in the “burrito” direction. He’s already eaten at BBs though, (it’s right by the Snail), and I was trying to expand our horizons.
Do you think Burrito Boyz is better than the Peter Street Deli? Because the Peter Street Deli is pretty good…
True – I forgot I was preaching to the “Works in Clubland Choir”. 😀
I’ll admit (with some hard to understand feeling of shame) that I’ve not been to the Peter Street Deli yet. But it’s on the list! I only picked BBz because it’s new and fresh to me.
Speaking of the Snail – check your email!
….which is Kit Kat on King Street (at John) and have some of the best creme brulee *EVER*. I’ve had many a free/discounted meal there from my hotel days…but I guess that era has ended.
Yes, and I don’t know if sarcasma passed it on to you, but I offered my services as an unpacker if they might be helpful. This weekend’s pretty booked, but I’ll make some time if you need it.
We should hang out! Would you be interested in joining us for the movie? Justin’s friend Glenda was going to tag along, but I am no longer certain that’s going to happen. Would love your company!
Well, of course we should hang out! This looked like a _romantic_ dinner, but I’ve been known to crash the party. Of course, it depends on which movie you’re seeing – sings for Jesus tonight, and there are some movies I can’t see without her..
Your services as an unpacker are most appreciated. Obviously, I’d love for you to come over, and we are en route to your Weston home. But only make time for it if you’ve got the time for a social call – the situation is nowhere near dire. But whatever you do, check your Silver Snail email, and RSVP to the Evite there (and let me know if you didn’t get one). is also invited, of course.
