Well, I’ve finally accepted that it’s time to rent ye olde investment condo #2, and as such had a meeting with a very nice realtor on Friday evening who will be listing for me. Yay! I get to be on MLS again! In celebration and prep for a really solid showing, I went out and bought a new dining room set and stackable washer/dryer for the condo that will get delivered next week. And now I am painful broke. Good thing I bought
The problems of moguldom, man. They are legion.
On an unusually sporty note: I’m thinking about joining the OPS DragonBoat club, but am worried about how I will get to meetings without a car, and also how bad it is to be missing at least one week in the middle of high training season for my cousins wedding. Also slightly afraid that my arms, with their utter lack of muscle definition, may snap off/be pulled out of their sockets by the speed of rowing with others. Hmm.
In other news, Kaffe Fassett has an exhibition on at the Textile Museum in Toronto right now that I really want to see, and there are two related events that I would love to attend: a lecture by Mr. Fassett at 222 St. Patrick Street (corner of Elm Street), on Friday June 3rd from 6:30-7:30pm, and two one-day patchwork workshops on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend from 9:30am-4:30pm. I will not be able to go to ANY of these culturally-enriching events, however, as I will be attempting to increase space in my home and relieve monetary strain by preparing for…
Saturday’s dreaded Garage Sale! Yes, it’s happening. Friday night I’ll get the big yellow truck and drive out to the Oak with a trunk full of absolute shite – trinkets, books, clothing, toys, geegaws and doodads of all kinds – and attempt to sell them to people just like
(And yes, I will be posting photos of shenanigans by
Okay, so, pardon my ignorance if you can, but… wasn’t the point of the second condo for you to have a place to be downtown on a whim if needed? Doesn’t renting it out kind of muss up that point? Or was that, in fact, not the point? if so, you really do just want to be a mogul, don’t you?
Meanwhile: en suite stackable washer and dryer! You wouldn’t by any chance be interested in renting to US, would you? 😉
You know I would. However, greed and the unyielding desire for mogulry will demand that I get full market price for it. Which is rather a lot.
I was going to ask how much you and SC were renting out your place for, but it seemed rude. But I am curious. But I feel like this is something that should be tackled offline. Might I ask you to email it to me? See your Sears Portrait Studio entry for my worky email address if you are so inclined.
