Once, I feared that at some future time in my life, I could be working in academia, worriedly wondering: “Am I really qualified or even capable of publishing?” (A serious concern, given my abysmal “effort” at nanowrimo, let it never be mentioned here again.)

But no longer! I have bought myself reassurance that indeed ANYONE can publish about ANYTHING if they just set their minds to it. This reassurance has come to me in the form of two books that will soon grace my heavily-laden shelves.

Today, I discovered that NOT ONLY did someone write and publish a book about Quilting With Manhole Covers, they also managed to secure enough funding and find enough additional content to write A SEQUEL. I kid you not.

Yes, there are TWO BOOKS in existence on the topic of quilting with manhole covers.
