Evening Hardest

Kevin Smith’s Toronto and London-based sequel to ‘An Evening with Kevin Smith’, ‘Evening Harder’ will finally be out on DVD November 28th. At last, it’s here! Nice timing, Kev. Now I can enjoy having a permanent reminder of myself and Justin, happy and laughing and together and still living la vida loca at the Silver Snail, preserved for all eternity on film. Perfect. Maybe I’ll give it as a gift to friends and family, along with a big bottle of lemon juice, some salt and a sharp knife.

Recent Activities: Friday afternoon I was asked politely to leave work because I looked “too gloomy to be around others”; so I went to the Manulife and knitted and eventually hung out and had a sandwich with ; then went to visit where we planned my inevitable triumph over Rob Burton in four years when my crazy effective campaign strategy wrests the Oakville mayor’s seat from under his ass, garnering me a landslide victory while simultaneously quadrupling voter turnout at the polls; then we drank 2 bottles of wine and watched 6 episodes of the pleasingly funny sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’; then I passed out on her futon; then I took the train back to Oakville the next morning to visit Dad; then I returned to Toronto after lunch to have tea and learn about flower tinctures and meet ’s adorable new one-eyed pirate kitty; then met , and an ever-so-slightly-tardy to see Casino Royale (no spoilers, but it did *not* totally suck AND I finally got to see the crazy action scene shot in the half-finished hotel in Nassau that my Aunt detoured for us to go see last time I was visiting family in the Bahamas). I have eaten Japanese food every day for a week now. So much edamame! Soon I will become a soy bean.

More packing today at the house. Wish me peace and tranquility, as I am feeling only roiling nail-biting, stomach-churning anxiety at the moment.

  1. In my continued effort to not comment on important issues, I too liked the 007 flick. Little less Peirce blow em up eye candy matrix action scenes and a little more old school Bond. Good times.
