Hey everybody! Check out today’s freshest, coolest science article at Inkling on fighting malaria with mosquitoes, written by my favorite… hmm, unqualified praise was easier when I only knew one… by my favorite singing immunologist, . I’m so proud! I used to feed him Kraft Dinner and make him wear silly wigs, and now he’s all grown up and getting published!
I know it’s been a bit of a slog in the lab lately, but I’ll be flying back to NYC for another visit with (in February?) and hopefully we can spend some quality time coffee-drinking and art-talking. This will NOT be like last year, when I lost my wallet at the airport and spent my trip being sugar-daddied around Manhattan by Dave. Ooh! And we could work on a concept for album cover/liner note artwork for ‘Fourteen Finches’! I’ll bring my quills and scratchboard with me.
Good luck at your conference in Berlin, Kurt! See you soon?
Cat is in town for the end of Feb/beginning of March… so don’t book yourself to be away during her visit!
Right. Good reminder! I’ll be sure to consult the Google calendar (and Dave. and Kurt.) before booking my ticket. Early March is a possibility as well, but late March is kind of crap for everyone – esp. since K. is in Germany then.
I might also try to take some time off work and swing over to Washington to visit as well, so this is going to take a bit of planning.
yeeeeeeesss! visit!
but i warn you, my schedule is absolutely insane this spring with work and trip to hawaii and nick’s visits and boston trip with near the end of april and trip to las vegas in the first week of may (i think) and a trip to NY for wedding stuff before ‘s graduation from Georgetown. like i said, insane.
but we can work something out. 🙂
thanks moira for so many props. i think you win most kurt-specific links in a single post.
ps. early march is good for me!
