Last night I had a busy time of it. First, dropped off some horrible thank-you comics to Chip at the studio: Family Circus and Alf and Eggbert, oh my. Then, onward with my violently pink bike through the frigid rain all the way to the Foxes Den for a rousing evening with Chrissy and Co. We pubbed, we played pool, we parted at one am. What a super nice bunch of people Chrissy has surrounded herself with! I enjoyed the company of everyone I met there, and rarely have I laughed so hard while playing pool.
At one o’clock, I cycled all the way back to College Street to join Aly for the last couple of hours of his birthday celebration at Sneaky Dees. And after that, just after 3am, tried to find A. for movie-watching and a snack, but his brother had the cell phone, so went home and pooped out instead.
Got up early today for the Santa Claus parade! I think there will have to be a Diaryland entry about this, as I took about 2 billion photos, and I need a place to vent my disturbing thoughts about the somewhat adult content of certain sections of the parade. Two hours worth of floats and bands and small children took the wind out of my sails, so I retired home to an afternoon of reading and bracing myself for the work week.
I’m glad you had fun and enjoy the company of my fine friends. I’ve heard reports from many of them and the feeling would appear to be mutual.
Huzzah!
