Last night after work I popped by the Snail to see JVL, and his dad RVL informed me that I am the big winner of the San Diego ComicCon Palisades Toys “Golden Gonzo” competition. My one-of-a-kind Gonzo statue will be shipped to me next week; I’m excited to be it’s proud owner. What a great souvenir!

Confession: last night I once again failed to do any unpacking or sorting of clothing. I continue to milk the excuse that my office is full of plumbing equipment which prevents me from accessing the upstairs bookshelves. Instead, I watched the first four episodes of Smallville, Season 2. Those were some sexy episodes! Lex’s bride, red-kryptonite influenced Clark Kent, etc. Rrawr!
