1. i used to know someone. a good one at that. but i think now he’s turned in the shrub clippers for green-handles scissors, teaching elementary kids in northern ontario.

   The ISA’s consumer site has lots of info you might also want to look at. Other than that, get as many estimates as you can, and armed with your consumer research, try to ask probing questions to try to figure out how much your prospective Arborist actually knows about Arboriculture. Trees are a lasting investment, they may even outlive your home… Hope this helps.
